COOKIE AND PRIVACY TECHNOLOGY POLICY

Last Updated: February 25, 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Camplight Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", and "our"), operating the product known as KnowledgePlane, manages user data technologies on our website (the "Website").

Legal Entity:
KnowledgePlane is a product of Camplight Ltd.
Address: 150 Deseti Decemvri str., et. 2, Pleven 5800, Bulgaria.

We believe in maximum transparency. Unlike many websites that overload visitors with tracking scripts, our landing page is built with Astro, a modern static site generator. This means our landing page is designed to be lightweight, fast, and privacy-preserving by default.

2. Cookies We Use

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and the Reddit Pixel on our Website. These services place the following cookies on your device:

Cookie Purpose Duration
_ga Distinguishes unique visitors 2 years
_ga_* Maintains session state 2 years
_rdt_uuid Reddit Pixel: tracks conversions from Reddit ads 3 months
rdt_* Reddit Pixel: stores ad attribution data Session / 3 months

Google Analytics (GA4)

GA4 cookies collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, session duration, referral source, and approximate geographic location (country/city level). GA4 does not log or store full IP addresses.

Opt-Out: You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies from googletagmanager.com in your browser settings.

Reddit Pixel

The Reddit Pixel helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Reddit. It tracks page visits and conversion events when visitors arrive from Reddit ads.

Opt-Out: You can opt out of Reddit's interest-based advertising by visiting your Reddit Privacy Settings, or by blocking cookies from redditstatic.com in your browser settings.

Beyond the cookies listed above, we do not store persistent identifiers in your browser's Local Storage for tracking purposes.

3. External Services and Data Transfer

In addition to analytics cookies, your browser makes technical connections to third-party servers to render the website correctly.

A. Google Fonts (Typography)

To ensure our website text is readable and consistent across all devices (using the Inter, Space Grotesk, and JetBrains Mono typefaces), we utilize Google Fonts.

  • How it works: When you load our Website, your browser makes a request to Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) to download the font files.
  • Data Impact: To serve these fonts, Google receives your IP address. Google states that they do not set cookies via the Fonts API, but the transmission of your IP address is technically necessary to deliver the font file to your computer.
  • Legal Basis: We rely on Legitimate Interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) for the uniform and professional presentation of our Website.

B. Replit (Hosting and Server Logs)

Our Website is hosted on infrastructure provided by Replit, Inc. While Replit does not set client-side tracking cookies on your browser for our static page, they maintain standard Server-Side Logs.

These logs are essential for security and debugging and typically include:

  • Your IP Address (used for DDoS protection and geo-location stats).
  • User-Agent (browser and device type).
  • Request Timestamp and Duration.
  • Referrer URL (the site you came from).

Note: This is passive data collection performed at the network level. It allows us to see aggregate statistics (e.g., "500 visitors from Bulgaria") without tracking your individual behavior via cookies.

4. Forms and API Interactions

If you interact with our "Waitlist" or "Request Demo" forms:

  1. The information you enter (e.g., your email address) is sent directly to our API endpoint.
  2. This interaction does not set a cookie on your browser.
  3. The data is processed solely to fulfill your request (e.g., adding you to the waitlist).

5. Application vs. Landing Page

Please note this policy applies to the public-facing landing page.

If you navigate to the KnowledgePlane Application (e.g., logging into the admin panel or app dashboard):

  • Authentication cookies will be used to keep you logged in.
  • These are strictly necessary "Session Cookies."
  • If you log in using a third-party provider (Google or GitHub), those providers will set their own cookies to verify your identity.

6. Future Updates

We are a growing platform. If we introduce additional tracking technologies beyond Google Analytics, we will update this Cookie Policy and notify users accordingly.

7. How Can I Control My Privacy?

You can control or limit the cookies set by our Website:

  • Google Analytics Opt-Out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent GA4 from collecting your data.
  • Reddit Pixel Opt-Out: Visit your Reddit Privacy Settings to opt out of interest-based advertising, or block cookies from redditstatic.com.
  • Browser Settings: Most modern browsers allow you to block third-party cookies or specific domains (such as googletagmanager.com or redditstatic.com).
  • VPN: Using a VPN can mask your IP address from third-party services like Google Fonts or hosting providers.

8. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this policy or our privacy practices, please contact us. We are happy to clarify our technical setup.
